Following the introduction of PIP for all new claimants, the qualifying criteria has changed and now it is now more suited to severe conditions, of SA as it is more based on what affect your conditions have on your life rather than can you cook a meal for yourself (the first qualifier of DLA), so maybe it is time for a new thread.

Hi , I'm new and just finding my way around :-) but this topic interests me as I at present get PIP basic but was not aware that I could claim for this also as I have severe obstructive sleep apnoea;.
Any information would be gratefully received
