Snoring In The News* Why snorers may wake up depressed (Daily Mail, October 2005)

Snorers are at a greater risk of suffering depression and marital breakdowns, even though they may not realise it.

Researchers have found that virtually undetectable breaks in the sleeping patterns of those with sleep apnoea are enough to leave sufferers feeling listless and irritable. Few are aware that the condition is the source of their problems and many put them down to other parts of their life.

Indoor Allergy Week 14-18 November 2005 (BSSAA, October 2005)

Too much alcohol, too much food and too many cigarettes often cause snoring. But for many snorers, indoor allergies can be the problem. According to the British Allergy Foundation, one third of the UK adult population is suffering from some sort of allergy. 'Respiratory Allergies' have recently been found to be a significant risk factor for snoring.
