Perfumed soaps & shampoos

Fragrances and preservatives that are contained in these substances can often cause contact dermatitis but can also cause reactions throughout the body.

Body sprays

Allergens that come into contact with the skin can be absorbed and cause reactions in other parts of the body.

Perfumes

10% of the population will have an allergy to substances contained in perfumes.

Hair lacquer

Preservatives are present in products such as hair laquer to stop them degrading and becoming contaminated. Many people are allergic to these preservatives.

Mould

Dark, humid conditions attract moulds. They can cause nasal congestion, sore throat, itchy eyes and shortness of breath.

Like other mould, condensation mould can cause many symptoms that give rise to snoring.
