I used to get really bunged up, I still do on occasion, because Id be too cold in bed. I had loads of blankets etc but till I invested in a good quality feather down duvet, I was always subjecting myself to hours of chill without realising. It wont help everyone Id imagine but it did the job for me I think

There is another manager who always moans that she's tired . I keep my mouth shut while thinking "What the cluck? Tired? You?" The words cradle, marks, off, backside spring to mind......

Tell me about it, the managers would rather sit in the office playing with their phones whilst I'm dealing with a queue of customers hanging out of the door! :? :?
Could blame the drains if I produce something really noxious!

To quote a line from one of the "Pink Panther" films: "In with the good air, out with the bad."! How's this for a put down: "I'm ever so sorry for causing you great offence by breaking wind. Unfortunately, I suffer from a condition that requires me to wear a mask attached to a machine at night which feeds air into my airway to keep it open. Not using this machine would have serious consequences to my health. However this increased intake of air needs to be expelled, or I could suffer pain, discomfort and bloating which may require the use of"over the counter" medication which I am NOT permitted to consume whilst on shift!!" Or to put it bluntly:"Let me suck on a Windeeze tablet or suffer from foul wind."

I am definitely going to mention flatulence with serious face and a hushed tone at my next interrogation, just to make them squirm a little.

I have a roll of the yellow and black stuff that I had to stick everywhere following an elf and safety assessment. So, the tape followed by a kick in the yarbles to simulate not only a pause in breathing, but also a fight or flight adrenaline response due to hypoxia. Then explain that this was a scientific simulation and needs to take place 20 or more times an hour. I think he'll begin to understand in no time.

Never mind Hannibal Lecter, I'm waiting for Darth Vader comments!   Well, that's what goes through my mind as I hear myself breath wearing the "face hugger". Surprised no-one has picked up on the "Alien" reference yet! :?
What angers me is that I had spoken to this junior manager about the tests I was going through and my snoring a while back..... AND he is supposed to deal with Health and Safety! :-x :-x :-x :-x
