Ah, yes, I forgot about the limited data available through a Respironics display. Anyway, an AI of 1.6 is OK. The HI number is less impoartant than the AI number. You can probably work on getting the AHI below 5.0. What "Leak" reading are you seeing on your Resmed display and what is the mask type set to in the flow generator? Cheers, Bill ai was 1.1 last night - ahi I think was 5.0 exactly, leak I think was 0.36 (l/sec ?) - it's a mirage quattro - the nurse set that bit up ... machine is nicer than the old one .. mask is nicer too ...

Resmed and Respironics score hypopneas differently. Resmed scores a wider range of events as hypopneas than does Respironics.
Anyway, the key thing to look at is managing apnea events down to a low level, so are you seeing any significant difference in the AI component on your AHI result between the two flow generators, or is the difference only in the HI component?
Cheers,
Bill

cheers for that ....
the ahi on the respironics machine averaged 3-4 ... on this its been 6-7
wonder if the respironics apap algorithm is better for me?

1. When you press those buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds, do you see the display change to "Efficiacy Data" (or something very similar) 2. Are you doing it before 12 noon? Cheers, Bill 1) yes 2) tried both just did it again to check what items are under 'efficacy' with 'no data' ... and there's data there !! maybe it only appears after a few days use ?

Resmed autoset spirit 2 |

hi there,
picked up my nhs supplied autoset spirit 2 a few days ago now ... previously paying for a respironics remstar auto (can't remember the model) ... previously I could see the ahi and pressure data etc ...
I've pressed the < and > buttons together and can see where this data should be ... but it comes up with 'no data' ... any ideas?
