Day 77: 8 and half hours sleep and mask time. Blimey! That must be the longest snooze time I've had! Been to the doc's. Prescribed some antibiotics. Just as well I have today and tomorrow off, it gives the pills some time to work....Spoke to the doc about if my chest infection has been caused by the CPAP and should I stop using it until I'm better. He said "NO" to both counts. I asked him if he heard anything from the hospital's sleep clinic as I'm STILL CONFUSED as whether or I'm "Apnoeic" . I needed to fill in the infamous DVLA form! He explaind that are 2 sets are "guidelines": our beloved "epworth" which I scored highly (18)and AHI's, in which I scored 4. (Less than mild apnoea). He is going to write a letter on my behalf to the consultant to find out where I stand regards to sleep apnoea and the DVLA. I am beginning to feel like a guinea pig!!!

Hiya friends! Sorry for the wait, I've let my diary keeping go....AGAIN!!!! I'll give you a brief run down as to whats been happening:

Recovered from my chest infection.(Thanks for asking!)
Been spending hubby's money on new carpet and wallpaper. Going to redecorate the lounge. (Dog had been left indoors one day and she had WRECKED the carpet by chewing it, throwing up on it and using it as a toilet!) "HE" has been stripping the paint off the door frames.."Once the new carpet goes down, I don't want to ruin it by repainting the woodwork with gloss!" The computer was briefly disassembled and placed upstairs, but that didn't last long... "Where is the cheapest place I can get this particular tool from?" So, at the moment, I'm sitting in a lounge with bare floors and walls. I'm not talking "Shabby-Chic", just shabby! :( But I keep telling myself that it'll be great once it's done.....

Seen my mother recently. She told me that being an employee of a well known supermarket and sponsor of GB Paralympic Team, she is going to the Paralympics! (Along with 4999 other collegues!) Apparently, they are going watch the Basketball and rumours that they are going to wear orange shirts!(The 5000 employees, not Para Team GB!) As long as our basketball team are not playing against Holland........

Been working hard, thanks to the school holidays. I do wish customers wouldn't talk to me as if I'm a retard. Trying not to let rip with a comment is getting REALLY difficult. "I'm sorry Madam, but I'm "Sleep Apnoeic", not special educational needs.!!!!" Thanks to CPAP, my brain doesn't feel "fuzzy", I can think clearer! Having midnight finishes this week. Not happy about those, but I'm off for the next fortnight...Roll on Friday!!! :D :D :D
Not going anywhere, just spending time with "Him" and the boys. Hubby has a very heavy work load, thanks to his delightful boss who decides to go on a two week cruise and so hubby has to phone the customers for their orders and deliver them the next day!

Been naughty regarding Mask time. Forgot to wear it 3 times. Bloody felt the ill effects the next day(s) after forgetting.... But when I do put it on, and depending on what day it is, I managed between 6 and 8 and a half hours! Got 4, maybe 4 and a half hours last night. Crawled out of work at half midnight. I got home at 1a.m. Found hubby snoozing on the sofa.

Found out that my eldest son and his mates were mugged yesterday. My son wasn't hurt, but he thumped one of the Sh1ts that were attacking his friends. There 12-13 of the scrotes to my son and his 4 mates......

And it's my birthday today.....

Done it again... Forgot to update....
Well,
Wed 15th: had 15 mins mask time. That's right. Settling down to less than 5 hour snooze when hubby stumbles upstairs. (I thought he was kipping on the sofa!) I whipped mask off. (I still get feelings of embarrassament about wearing it in front him!) Had the intention of putting it back on when he was asleep, but I had dozed off too.....This WAS the night I crawled out of work at half past midnight, and got home at 1a.m!!

Thur 16th:Supposed 9 p.m finish... Got out half hour late. Did see hubby in the car park, but by the time I got out of work, he had driven off, fed up with waiting. I phoned home, telling my eldest to pass on the message that "thanks for waiting dear, I'm walking home..." Luckily, I saw hubby driving along, looking for me. Managed to wave him down for lift home. 5-6 hours kip time, didn't put on mask BEFORE going to sleep, but I woke up during the night and PUT it on. Think I got about 2-3 hours mask time.

Fri 17th: WOW!!!!
Got out of work on time!!!! And I'm now on holiday!!!!!!
7 and a half hours mask and snooze time. I CAN do it...

Sat 18th: Feeling hot, hot, HOT! Spent most of the day in the back garden watching the kids (youngest, eldest and hubby) play in the paddling pool... (Took all day to fill the blooming thing up!) Think it's got a leak, the side seems to sag. Even the dog AND rabbit had a dip....  Hubby found a cricket on the washing line. It is now living in one of my plastic sandwich boxes.... :-| :-|
Had problems trying to sleep last night. It wasn't the heat I had trouble with, but one of my neighbours had decided to hold a "Fancy Dress(seemingly optional) birthday party". It would have been nice for them to pre-warn the rest of the street!!!! :-x :-x       Especially when their parties go on until 3-4 in the morning and there are drunken rows in the street, bottles being thrown about out side and a very bad "sing a long" to Barry White's "My First, My Last, My Everything."! I had the face hugger on, but everytime I tried to go to sleep, bleedin' more noise! Swear it got louder as it got later... Mind you, I had to snigger when I saw the "Birthday girl". I think she was trying to be Marylin Monroe, but being a "bit of a big girl", she looked like a very bad "drag act"!    So, when I DID get SOME sleep, I had about 5 and a half hours snooze and in total 6 and a quarter hours mask time...  Hoping I'm going to stay awake.....Seeing as the inconsiderate so and so's are probably sleeping their hangovers off..........

Sunday 19th, Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st, : 6, maybe 6 and hours hours snooze and face hugger time each night. Find myself crawling out of bed and listen to hubby moan about his bosse's upcoming holiday over breakast before he dashes off to work. Had a phone call from one of my managers, asking if I could come in.... CHEEKY so and so! I pointed out that I was holiday. Me going into work whilst on holiday??? :-x :-x :-x All I can say is: CLUCK OFF!!!  I think it's because someone had attended the "V" music festival and couldn't be bothered to come into work. Having a great time "playing" in my kitchen.....I made some "Cornish-style" pasties. I can't really call them "Cornish" as this particular batch was made in Essex and I put carrot not swede in the filling.... Everyone ate them, although I had to make one without veg for my youngest. I think it's because this time last year, we were on a week's holiday in Cornwall...
Wednesday 22nd: 7 hours sleep time, mask 0 hours.... AAAARRRRGGGHHH! Forgot to wear it! I felt absolutely exhausted. I think it's because a) yougest son and myself were dumped at a local park whilst hubby had to pop to his work place. We had spent 2 hours at this park. We even had a go on some "exercise equipment" there.(I'm feeling aches in my legs....)and b) I think I have been sent to sleep by the constant moaning about hubby's job.... Mind you, hubby is still worried about losing his job. I really must try to stay awake and look interested....

Strangely enough, Sleep2Snore, I AM having fun! Think it's because I haven't got the worry of going to work (until 2nd or 3rd of September at least)! Anyways:

Thursday 23rd: Hubby went to bed at 9 pm. That's REALLY early for him!!!! Mind you, he had to get up at 5 for work...... I know, I was up at the same time. Managed 6 hours sleep and mask time, just because he needed an early night doesn't mean I do!!!!.. Think I had a little snooze on the sofa when he left, but I don't feel drained....NOT YET!!! My mother had popped over, she told that her "Paralympic Group" will NOT be attending in orange as some other organisation will wearing it!!! :( :( Shame! But it sounds like they will be wearing staff-designed shirts....

Jeez, I know I look rough in the morning, but that's the first time I've been mistaken for a lion! An old dog maybe....... And also, there has been a report on the net that a really deadly snake has been found in some cargo at the local docks!!! I thought some parts and residents of Essex were wild enough......

Drat! Been sloppy in keeping diary and mask time. Think it's because I have been thrown out of my routine... Well, basically, I've been falling asleep without sticking it on, BUT, I have been waking up and then slapping the old face hugger on!!!!
Getting between 4-6 and a half hours mask time. The data card will know and then grass me up at next year's appointment.......

Going back to work Sunday for a nice 8 hour shift, finish at midnight....GREAT! :(
Youngest goes back to school on Tuesday. I had a mad dash shopping spree yesterday for new uniform. I haven't got new PE shorts or school shoes yet. I intended to go shopping early but hubby pops home and asked if I could come along with him. Don't worry youngest son came too! In fact , he got some money out of hubby's customers without doing anything!!!!
Customer; " Thanks for the delivery, is your little boy with you?"
Hubby: "Yes he is, he's in the van..."
Customer; "Here's 50p/£1/£2 for the little lad..."
:o :o What the......??? :o :o
