A friend of my fathers had a test at a private hospital. The information was relayed to me by my father so I apologise if I did not explain it well enough.

He said his friend was put to sleep and then a camera was put inside his mouth, and while he was sleeping they identified the problem and could see the offending bits in the mouth vibrating.

The aim was to identify the exact cause to minimise the surgery needed.
The friend had the work done and it stopped his snoring.

Has anyone heard of or been for this kind of test?

I am a snorer (been a snorer for a long time) and I am looking at what I can do about it.
