as I have already advised I have sought the advice of my GP and seem to be getting nowhere and was looking for some specialised advice from a snoring expert but it would seem that that this site is not the place where I will find my answers which is a shame because I would have liked to have become part of the community.
Don't go off in a huff!
You are still VERY WELCOME to be a member of this community, and by having perhaps a situation which is not common you can help us learn and educate us!
Sadly we are only specialist in being 'ex-snorers'!! We can only help you from our personal experience both pre- and with xPAP! There are other reasons why people snore, and you may simply find that you snore because of them. You might ask your doc for a referral to another medical specialist whose area of expertise covers snoring, such as an ENT surgeon or even a neurologist specialising in sleep disorders. However most members on here couldn't really help with this because this is outside our area of experience
If and when I ever find out answers I will come back and post the results in the hope that my experience may help someone else in the same situation although I hope no one else would be as unlucky as me
I know that you do consider yourself to be unlucky because you haven't found the answers to the questions you so much want answering, and have drawn a blank so far in this particular community. We would be delighted if you would keep us updated on your progress, and if someone comes along at a later date with similar problems at least you will have shown us a way forward to help them.
