You can find them on eBay quite cheaply, for under £10, whether they are as good, I don't know, but I am going to try one! The seller did say that the rings do not work well for overweight people, and may not do so atall for very overweight people, so in my case, it might not work too well!!

Out of desperation last year, I bought one of these (actually got two by mistake as the boxes were stuck together). It says that for excessive snoring two can be worn, so tried that. I also tried nosesprays, nose guards, chin up straps and even a wristwatch thing that gave me electric shocks if I snored (I kid you not! )

They made absolutely NO difference whatsoever!

I'm amazed by the number of "don't waste your money" comments on here.....sure it may work for some but not others...if it doesn't work for you it comes with a full 30 day money back guarantee !!

What's with all this "It won't work" and "Inappropriate treatment"?
Surely, the whole purpose here is to establish if it works, regardless of whether some believe it or not.
Clearly for some it does work and therefore 'appropriate', and albeit very expensive, money well-spent is entirely subjective.
With respect, opinions from non-users and disbelievers isn't really serving this discussion. Great to hear it's helped people here, regardless of the reason or opinions either way, and I'll be giving it a go myself as that's the only way I'm going to find out for 'myself'.

Wouldn't it be better to find out by scientific and medical reasons why a person is snoring? And then consider treatment.

By all means spend whatever the going rate is.

However, might it not be better to deal with the cause of the problem rather than just treating the symptoms?

But of course, 'guest' and 'funkyjive' you may also have financial interests in the success of these 'gadgets' .....

Are people getting confused between snoring and OSA, the ring might for whatever reason stop snoring, I dont know how but it might have some short term mental effect, but it wont open up airways and cure you of OSA. I suspect the ones it helps dont have OSA.

Definition of the word Snoring taken from Wikipedia.

Snoring is the vibration of respiratory structures and the resulting sound, due to obstructed air movement during breathing while sleeping. In some cases the sound may be soft, but in other cases, it can be loud and unpleasant. Snoring during sleep may be a sign, or first alarm, of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

Would the guest poster and FunkyJive please tell me how the said acupressure ring would remove the obstruction of your breathing whilst asleep ???

Because if it can clear the obstruction in the airway i will ditch my cpap machine now and go and spend a tenner on it

Regards,

Easy! A network of invisible channels of energy, Qi, runs just beneath the skin’s surface. The Qi moves in a balanced and smooth way in health, but if this becomes unbalanced then pain and illness may result. The Qi can be affected in several ways - there may be too much, too little, it may not flow smoothly, in the wrong direction or it could be a combination any of these.

Very similar to the way that the neutron flow is polarised to prevent a warp core breach and realigning the sensor array to the dampening shield on the nacelles, finding the right phase modulation frequency can result in a total shutdown if the algorithm paramaters in the ship's AI core are not running their self diagnostic programs.

Simples!

There are some serious attitude problems and "ME ME ME!!! Listen to MEEEE!" posts on this thread.

I tried this ring out last night on the recommendation of a friend. It worked a treat and not only is my girlfriend now happier but I woke up feeling great instead of my usual hour long zombie shuffle.

Ignore the nay-sayers and give it a go. If it doesn't work for you then get your money back within 30 days.
