Been a heavy snorer for years, but recently it stopped. I discovered that by cutting out chocolate and not eating anything 4 hours before sleep, airways are clearer. Snoring gone.
I have experimented and am convinced this was the cause for me. One square of choc in the evening will bring it back. It was noticeable that it closed the airway at back of throat.
Convinced this was some kind of minor allergy, I also discovered that anti-histamine helped slightly reduce the swelling, but resulted in minor snoring.
