Sorry for the long post, couldn't get near the computer!!
Day 30: Off work, got dragged out by hubby to assist him with his job and to visit a local builder's merchant's. Remember I told you my bed collapsed? Well, hubby decides to repair it. Anyway, got some timber and spent the entire evening banging and screwing (and sawing, cursing and throwing tools about because somethings not quite right),the bed was fixed.....When I clambered into the results of his handiwork, I feel asleep without my mask!
Day 31:Felt the effects of non CPAP. Was sleepy and headachy. 7 hour shift at work....GREAT
Got home to be informed that sis-in-law's kids had been round. But they got dragged back after they spent an hour jumping on our sofa, throwing things down the stairs, shouting, screaming and hitting hubby over the head with toys. My son's rabbit tried to hide himself in the hutch because they wanted to "play" with him. Naturally, I was concerned about my CPAP. Don't need the worry of damage to (my estimate) £600 worth of medical equipment! After those events, I made sure I got "dressed" that night! But took it off during the night, had rotten day due to hay fever- nose wouldn't stop dripping. Even taking an anti-histamine didn't help!
Day 32: Where HAS the time gone? Running around like an idiot. Youngest son had to attend his Maths class, and I had a 8 hour shift at work. Just love Saturdays...Hubby decides he fancied a tipple, (bearing in mind he has been renovating door frames, tidying up our bedroom of the DIY waste, the hell's cesspit aka the boys bedroom, washed up, cleaned the fridges, and the garden due to the aforementioned DIY rubbish!) so sends me to the off licence for a well earned beer. Couldn't find anything he drinks so end up buying and trying 2 bottles of a well known Irish cider and very nice it was too.
Day 33: WOW!
I got 8 hours sleep, hubby in bed with me, mask still on my face and I woke up with a head ache! Probably caused by not drinking at work and/or my little evening tipple. Several cups of tea soon cured it. 7 hour shift at work, let loose in kitchen, rather than serving customers with a till. Worried I'd muck up, but no one said anything but praise.
Day 34: 6 hours snooze time, mask still on face!
Woke up after a very weird dream:
I'm at a seaside resort on holiday. It looks very run down and shabby. I'm walking along the beach where I see some buildings which were even more rundown and neglected. One looked to be an old school. It was black and white and had the date 1822 on it. I remember hearing a local telling me that it was part of the old town, no one lives or works there due to a belief the town was cursed. "All the inhabitants had disappeared all at once, some may say nowadays taken by aliens." the local said. I bid him thanks and goodbye, then carried on walking along the beach. I see two little (fat blonde-haired- don't know why I dreamed that up, probably due to some of the customers I deal with from time to time) girls pointing at something in the water. I went over to them and saw they were looking at a creature with 3 tentacles, (2 for arms, the other for a leg), it was pale grey and black almond shaped eyes. Then the girls started screaming as the creature started to grow very quickly and I woke up wondering what the time was. Never mind the alien creature thing, what I found weird was that I could feel the warm sun, the sand under my feet and the sea water splashing my legs...
Think I lay off the late night snacking-not good for the figure OR mind!!
