You seem to have a very sensitive nose. I have Rhinitis, and the doctor prescribed me Flixonase which calms the walls of the nostrils down a lot and frees the airway (for me). If there is loads of snot there to start with, then a good way would be to use a saline decongestant before inserting the nozovent, which would clear you out to begin with.

I am sorry that it did not appear to work for you, but if you are anything like me, you will want to rule out every option. The above are only suggestions, and everybodies body is different. Good luck and I hope you find out the root cause. Cheers Ken

Hiya Ken

Thanks anyway! I have actually persevered with the dilator and chin ups and they seem to be working - last night I had some more dreams - which, if I understand people, is a sign of decent sleep! So hurrah!!

I've even ordered some more chin ups as I don't want to run out!

It was actually your post about hanging on in their for four days that pushed me to give them another go, and I must admit... they do seem to work! So... thank you!!!! Very Happy Very Happy

Hi Jennie
Have just been reading your other postings and
I have my fingers crossed for you. Don't lose heart Smile Smile It's the "paperclips" that I use on a nightly basis and use the "chickenbone" (Nozovent) just now and again.
British Snoring just emailed me an Instructional Video about dilators and I realised that I wasn't inserting the "paperclips" deep enough into my nostrils, although it was working quite well, I will poke them in deeper (gently of course) If you fitted it just before you go to sleep, it would be practically invisible Wink Wink

I was trying to copy you a link, but if you email the company asking for instructional videos, then I am sure they will send it you.

All the very best Ken

Thank you for the advice... Very Happy I'll have a look.

I do find the paperclips a bit difficult to install! Rolling Eyes More than once there have been tears in my eyes and when they're done I have nose ring hanging down... Embarassed so am clearly not doing it right! I have to say though, to some it might be appealing with a plug chain attached Shocked , but for me... nah!

(I did read the destructions and did the whole fingers and thumbs and Whackaday wave moves!) Shocked

I'll let you know how it goes! Thanks again!
Very Happy
