Has anyone used one of these?
Going through the tests on the front page of www.britishsnoring.co.uk
I am pretty sure I am a 'tongue base snorer' and that a Tomed SomnoGuard AP is probably the best thing to try out.
If any other tongue based snorers have tried this device I'd love to hear how they got on.
I live on my own but my neighbour sometimes bangs on the walls to shut me up. And I do think about how it would affect a future partner so £100 is a small price to pay if it works.
Lying on my side makes a big difference but it's hard to stay in that position without being strapped in! And keeping my spine straight all the way to my head works too, in other words don't tilt your head forward when lying on your side.
Something that helps me breathe easier and also makes a noticeable difference is Otrivine nasal spray. Without this I can only breathe through one nostril depending on which side I am sleeping. Can anyone explain this? It isn't something that I can blow out of my nose, it's just pressure or something. My nose has been like this since I was a kid. Can't use Otrivine daily though because of its contents, I usually use it two or three times a week.
