Hello,

I am a Student Paramedic in the process of upgrading to full status at Worcester University.

Currently I am looking into Sleep Apnoea from the user/patients prospective. This research will then be presented to student paramedics and tutors. It's a fantastic opportunity highlight Sleep Apnoea to the next generation of paramedics.

I am looking for a volunteer to take part in a 20 minute video. The content will be a question and answer session, consisting of;

Your individual feelings about Sleep Apnoea?
How Sleep Apnoea impacts your day to day living
Benefits and drawbacks of any equipment to aid Sleep Apnoea
Emotional impacts of Sleep Apnoea
Social impacts of Sleep Apnoea

There maybe a couple subsequent questions but these will form the basis.

It will all be very informal and I am happy to travel to your location at a mutually convenient time.

If anyone is interested in taking part please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you and having an interesting discussion.

Many Thanks

Brendon

i would love to do this. it might be interesting to have a female perspective (which i am) I'm also quite young (27) and not overweight - so might be interesting to have a view from someone who isn't your 'stereotypical' cpap user????? my apnea is also severe, so i'd be able to explain the problems i had pre diagnoses, the struggle I had and now with my machine and the difference it's made!!

Do something about it then perhaps write to your fave magazine with your true story ,or contact your newspaper for your area .
Spread the word it will help you and hopefully save a few people aswell .
