Whilst I am delighted to hear of your weight loss ... do carry this on! ... you really need to carry on with the machine. Your weight loss will not 'cure' your OSA; NOTHING will, and you need to come to terms with the honest truth and fact that using your machine is the only way to manage your condition ... to reduce the substantially increased risk of your having a stroke or heart attack in your sleep back to a normal risk level ... and to give you the restful REM sleep that we all need.

OK so you will have some scary fantasy moments with the machine ... quite normal, but much better to have happier fantasy moments for a long lifetime once you get used to using it! Please persevere and good luck.

Good to hear of your weight loss.
It will help with sleep apnoea it may stop you suffering from it, however it may not.
I know a couple of people that claim to be clear of it after loosing a LOT of weight.
They don't look healthy they are so thin.
On the other hand I also know of people that are thin and still have O.S.A. so there is no certainty that loosing weight will work. You should carry on using your machine and carry on loosing weight.
Hopefully you may be one of the lucky ones. Keeping the weight off might not be easy, best of luck with it though, let us know how you get on.
We like to know, good or not so good.
Well done on the weight loss and good luck.
