I have had a wee bit of a sneezy/runny nose for a few days and as a result the skin round the nostrils has become red, tender and a bit dry. I use a nasal pillow mask which seals round the nostril so this isn't, as I'm sure you can imagine, ideal.

Does anyone know what type of cream or gel I can use to relieve the sore/dryness that won't potentially cause problems with the soft plastic mask material?

Ahhhhh poorly baby surely Pat could kiss it better for you

Suse ,

Try this cream its used for babies bums lol and its good for when you have had a tattoo done it should hopefully do the trick

Bepanthen Cream.

Bepanthen is an ointment containing pro-vitamin B5. Pro-Vitamin B5 gently aids natural skin recovery, while keeping it soft smooth and moisturised.

If you can't get that cream perhaps try Sudacream.

Byzzzzzzzzzzz,

Suse the red nosed reindeer,
Had a very shiny cpap nose ,
And if you ever seen her ,
You would even say it glows,
All of the other forum members,
Used to laugh and call her names ,
They never let poor Suse ,
Into any forum games .

Then one foggy xmas eve ,
Postman Pat came to say ,
" Suse with your nose so bright won't you drive the Pat van tonight"

Love you Suse xxxx

Thanks guys - it's still relatively sore but then I still have the sneezy cold which is not so great.

My real worry was about the cream causing the mask plastic to deteriorate rather than how well it would help my nose LOL but i'm sure I'll get there. Never really had a 'sneezy' cold before....it's a bit bizarre LOL
