Been reading the forum this afternoon and this subject crops up all the time on here -Weight !!! yes the dreaded word ,
Well last week i went to see my friendly doctor about a neck problem which i have had for over 14yrs when he comes out with "Your weight seems to have gone up since last time" do doctors say that to pee you off ??? well tried to explain that i go through phases where i can lose a stone in weight easily but when i feel tired due to osa i eat more to compensate feeling tired. Might have well have been talking chinese because he didnt really want to take in my comments about how the condition makes you feel.
Well last week i started getting out mountain biking the first ride about crippled me really thought i was heading for the coronary care unit

i felt that knackered but i managed 3 rides last week over a hour long each time.
Today i have completed a 10 mile ride which consisted of road biking and off road riding along the canal which was rather refreshing .
My legs are killing me now tho

but do feel better for it ,
Off to the gym with a trainer on Fri hopefully he can give me ideal gym workouts ,he said yesterday is there any excersise you cant do with sleep apnoea ??? kinda puzzled by that question i said i dont think so !!!
The plan is to get fitter for the summer ,lose some weight this in turn will reduce the pressure in the apap . Happy days
