Hello again,

Yes, as you might have guessed, before I had sleep apnea I used to enjoy motor bikes, so perhaps that was why I was stupid enough to stick out a night on the mad BIPAP machine

Even if weight loss does not remove the sleep apnea my consultant is pretty sure that my losing weight is a good idea. Last clinic with her (I normally only see the technicians) I had lost 18 pounds and she was pleased. I just checked - over the autumn I have managed to put every one of them back

Have just bought an exercise bike and am hoping she does not send an appointment out for a couple of months.

I cannot be sure but I think I had some sleep problems when I was much younger and slimmer.

Evening all.

Another first was conquered last night its called cpap therapy bad stomach pains and feeling rather sick ,we have all had colds on the therapy and its not a nice experience but try stomach pain and feeling sick and then add your cpap mask into the mix its not nice Do you leave the mask off and suffer the pain and sickness feeling then wake up in the morning feeling knackered or do you wear the mask and it makes you feel sicker !!!

Well after lying there for half an hour without mask on decided to risk it and put the mask on really had visions of waking up with the quattro mask full of puke that would have been nasty but eventually drifted off into slumberland.

Stomach still painfull today but much better than yesterday thank god

Perhaps i might take Kens advice and eat another whole clove of garlic then again after last time i think i will skip that idea

I too am full of catarrh, cold and yuk and have had to resort to the Olbas on a tissue solution to get any space between my nostrils to breath with. Goodness knows how all that muck actually lives in my cavities!!

Many packs of tissues later and with a lighter purse things look a bit better. A little slug of the hard stuff - in my case Grand Marnier - helps bedtime become a little less stressful ......................

1.04am awake still have severe stomach pain and feeling sick ,cpap intolerable sitting on here till the need for sleep takes over the stomach pain.

Must admit this is the worst i have ever been on cpap

Night people .

Well i made it through the night just about went to sleep around 2 ish put the mask on the thought of a night minus cpap fills me with dread so on it went.

The thing with cpap is its great when your fine and well but when illness appears its not the greatest thing to be doing whilst feeling ill ,you then get the knock on effect that a night without cpap equals feeling even crapper the next day.

Stomach feels like someones baseball batted me in it today but i will go on

Evening all,

Feeling a little better today went to doctors last night reckons its food poisoning and also have gallbladder pain came back with 6 boxes of tablets ,2 lots of em make you drowsy and i felt like a zombie once i took them last night .Spent most of the day sleeping today minus cpap .

I just spotted this family planning sign from Northampton General Hospital mmmm makes you wonder

Afternoon all,

In my quest to get fitter this year i spent 2hrs yesterday climbing this wall with my youngest son ,its 40ft high and the best part im not a great lover of heights. The picture is my son who's 8 nearly at the top im at the botton holding the rope .



Today a nice walk in the woods about 5miles getting muddy .
I hope we are all having a good weekend ,
