The humidifier is an M series heated humidifier and there is a dial which I turned to No. 2
When I was given the humidifier at the hospital, I was shown the machine and told the instructions were in the bag. So, no problems!!! When I got home, and went to fit the thing up, Lo and behold, no instructions. Two hours later, after trawling the net, I found the destructions!! and followed them, so no problems there. I just feel that its my dislike of breathing warm air is the problem.
I also feel that my age is creating problems with body temperature, hormonal changes etc. etc. We laugh and joke about the menopause, but there are definately issues with night sweats (loverly!!!) so although maybe I am having teething problems with the humidifer perhaps it will take a little longer for me to get accustomed to it. I have been offered HRT but I dont really want to go down that route, as I take quite a lot of medication already for arthritis and Stills disease and I dont want to take more meds for something that is after all a natural phase. I dont have any other problems with my time of life so I will deal with it.
By the way, guys, thanks for all the support and encouragement on here, this is really important to me as my mobility is virtually nil, I can use crutches but it is very difficult, so wheelchair is my main mode of transport, but, hey ho!!, life is generally good, but we all need to rant sometimes, and here I feel I can rant and nobody judges me. You are all great.
Thank you
Mags xx
