Yes I'm still around but not cured of the damn snoring

I regret having had the surgery done and would not recommend this to anybody.
I have been constantly suffering from post nasal drip and am having to constantly clear my throat.I have been suffering from a sore throat since February this year and my GP has eventually referred me back to the ENT specialist for their opinion.
The GP initially said the cause of my sore throat was acid reflux as I have since been diagnosed with a sliding hiatus hernia.After a month of taking PPI's there was no improvement.
I have a consultation with the ENT consultant in June so I will do my best to give an update with the outcome

I have now read all your stories, comments and am petrified. I snore and am due to have the UVPP op on Friday. What I read is not comforting. Right now I think I should cancel the op and live with the snoring. Is it worth the pain knowing that in all probability I will still snore..........
Anyone want to cheer me up and convince me to cancel.

For my tuppence, CANCEL YOUR OP, and at least take a bit longer to explore other options.

You might like to consider treatment for snoring with an Mandibular Device or if you have been diagnosed with OSA, xPAP therapy which is gold standard.
