When using the somnogard device I have noticed that in the morning one's teeth are very sightly displaced due to the lower teeth being pulled forward and the upper ones being pulled backwards very slightly by the device. It is noticeable in the 'bite' that one's teeth fit slightly differently. this goes away after an hour or so as the teeth return to their normal place. As this means the teeth are being rocked back and forth, albeit by minute amounts,on a nightly basis will this eventually lead to looseness and subsequent tooth loss? If one 'worried' a nail in a wall in the same way it would eventually come away in your hand so why are teeth different?

I would love to know the answer to this. I have had my MAD for three weeks now and I am terrified that it is loosening my teeth. They are very painful during the day and I have resorted to a soft breakfast.
Can anyone shed any light on this issue please?
