I've had my Resmed S9 for a week now and still know so little about it. I looked in the info book that came with it but I can't find out what the AHI reading correlates to. It had read anywhere from 0.1 to 0.4 every night except for Thursday night when it went up to 1.5. At first I thought that it maybe meant an improvement on my settling down with the machine but then last night was back to 0.1, so what is good/bad or does it matter?

Hi,

AHI Index explained here -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apnea-hypopnea_index

0.1 cracking figure , anything below 5 a night is really good .

If you have a S9 look for ResScan software it will help you more with the figures .

Regards,

Great thanks for that Nuneatonman37, I had googled it before I posted but couldn't seem to find anything as clear as that link. :)
