Thanks folks
I had a mixed night. I set up the mask etc, switched on the machine and lay down. As soon as I did so I had air leakage so decided to try sleeping on my back instead of my side. It was weird being woken up within minutes with a much higher blast of air. It happened lots of times so I guess that was when I stopped breathing.
I was woken much later by hubby telling me it was leaking and I was sleeping through it

he had to do it lots of times during the night.
In the end I tried to sleep with my hand on the mask so it didn't leak. The problem was to the side of my moth so maybe I knocked it so it wasn't straight. When it was working properly I had tingling in my fingers and toes

Hubby thinks that is because I was getting enough air for a change.
When I woke up this morning I felt more alert than on a normal morning despite the fact that we were both woken countless times. Maybe it is doing something already
