This vent helps very much to keep open my nose during sleep. I have a deviant septum which normally closes the passage of air in one part of the nose. However, with this vent I can breath rather normally. I feel more relaxed when I wake up because of better breathing during the night.

This product really seems to work. It takes a few nights to become accustomed to it as it is slightly uncomfortable at first but it is well worth a try, especially if mouth-breathing is the problem

After doing the tests on this site I identified that my nostrils collapsed when I breathe in. Almost invisible and painless to wear, these are a very soft sillicone. They aren't cheap but if you look after them the box contains 3, a 3 month supply. My tip would be to puch them as far up your nostril as you can bear, they really open up your passages and aid breathing. I wake up with a much more comfortable mouth in the morning when I use these. Its a real shame that at this price they don't come with a small box or container to keep them in.

I wanted to try this Megavent Breathing Aid as I use a lot of nasal strips which sometimes irritate the skin on my nose and as this is advertised as designed specifically for sensitive nasal passages I thought I would try it and see. I followed the instructions on the box for how to mould the device to comfortably fit my nostrils (there was no leaflet inside even though the box referred to one!) However I could not put up with the device for longer than 10 minutes! Found it very irritating, the plastic is quite hard, harder than I expected, and I guess my nose is too sensitive even for the Megavent Breathing Aid. After several attempts it became very apparent that I certainly couldn't sleep with it in. So have gone back to the nasal strips.

I have a deviated septum which restricts breathing through one nostril. The megavent helps me to breathe at night and sleep.

Delighted with the megavent as I now sleep through the night. Unfortunately it has has not cured my snoring!I bought it after the snore test showed me that my nostrils collapsed. This must have been causing me to wake in the night.. It is easy to use and quite comfortable, although I could not use it during a recent cold.

I suffer from snoring when lying on my back and a stuffy nose due to allergies and swimming (Chlorine). I love to sleep on my back which was fine before I shared a bed. I tried nasal decongestants which really helped (Ovralite) but you canít use them continuously as they cause congestion a period of use, so I decided to try the MegaVent. They feel a bit weird at first and make my nostrils look huge however they have greatly reduced my snoring. I have a snore app and on the days I use the vents it barely records a snore! What I do find is that during the course of the night I lose or I take out the vents, but that doesnít seem to make much of a difference so Iím assuming Iím taking them out early in the morning.I would recommend this product if you snore through your nose!!

This product did not work for my partner. However it's important to note that my partner has broken nose and I think that this is probably the cuss of his snoring.

I usually use Nozovent dilators but these seemed a viable alternative so I tried them out.I had to mould them using the hot water method but could not really achieve a nice round shape - it turned out a bit square but it was an OK fit. Amazingly it didn't fall out during the night but I can't see they are that comfortable as the plastic is quite rigid. If only they made these of the same stuff Nozovents are made from they'd have a sure fire winner! I'm going to persevere and see how it goes over the next few weeks.

I was surprised to find the Megavent quite comfortable to wear at night without any adjustment. I am still snoring but the volume is much quieter than before. I snore with my mouth closed and do have mild sleep apnea so am still monitoring the situation and shall be grateful for any advice which may further help my condition. I must have tried nearly everything on the market ,can't use the cpap machine but because I also have high blood pressure must take the matter seriously. I must say that so far the Megavent has helped me the most.,and I will continue using this. Incidentally, I don't really understand how I manage to snore with my mouth closed and wonder if this is quite common?
