This vent helps very much to keep open my nose during sleep. I have a deviant septum which normally closes the passage of air in one part of the nose. However, with this vent I can breath rather normally. I feel more relaxed when I wake up because of better breathing during the night.

After doing the tests on this site I identified that my nostrils collapsed when I breathe in. Almost invisible and painless to wear, these are a very soft sillicone. They aren't cheap but if you look after them the box contains 3, a 3 month supply. My tip would be to puch them as far up your nostril as you can bear, they really open up your passages and aid breathing. I wake up with a much more comfortable mouth in the morning when I use these. Its a real shame that at this price they don't come with a small box or container to keep them in.

I suffer from snoring when lying on my back and a stuffy nose due to allergies and swimming (Chlorine). I love to sleep on my back which was fine before I shared a bed. I tried nasal decongestants which really helped (Ovralite) but you canít use them continuously as they cause congestion a period of use, so I decided to try the MegaVent. They feel a bit weird at first and make my nostrils look huge however they have greatly reduced my snoring. I have a snore app and on the days I use the vents it barely records a snore! What I do find is that during the course of the night I lose or I take out the vents, but that doesnít seem to make much of a difference so Iím assuming Iím taking them out early in the morning.I would recommend this product if you snore through your nose!!

I was surprised to find the Megavent quite comfortable to wear at night without any adjustment. I am still snoring but the volume is much quieter than before. I snore with my mouth closed and do have mild sleep apnea so am still monitoring the situation and shall be grateful for any advice which may further help my condition. I must have tried nearly everything on the market ,can't use the cpap machine but because I also have high blood pressure must take the matter seriously. I must say that so far the Megavent has helped me the most.,and I will continue using this. Incidentally, I don't really understand how I manage to snore with my mouth closed and wonder if this is quite common?

I have suffered for many years with poor nights sleep, caused by constant breaks in my sleep due to Snoring, bought about by my nose blocking up when I lay down. Despite my doctor prescribing various nasal sprays I have never found a suitable cure, that is until I found MegaVent! I found it by searching the web, buying a box and was rewarded immediately by the best nights sleep I have had in years. The unit is easy to insert, unobtrusive

Helpful product, and once in place quite unoticeable. ( I dip it in clean water before putting in place, for some lubrication ) Easily misplaced being semi-transparent and small, so some bright-coloured attatchment might be helpful.

I used to use dilator strips to help me breath through my nose at night but got sick of having to peal them off my face. They also cost a lot because they were a one use item. I tried Mega Vent as an experiment and last ditch solution and it really does work. I didnt even have to remold them, they fit my nose straight out of the box. I did have to use a small pair of nail scissors to cut a very small hole in the side of each nostral dilator to help more air get in but they hold their shape well. Buy a box and experiment with them, for less than $20 you can't go wrong. I hope they keep stocking them I'm going to be back for more. There is a very mild discomfort in the mornings but it goes away 2 minutes after taking it out.And the first night I put it in my nose ran a bit because I wasnt used to having something in my nose, but that stopped on the second night.

I have tried a variety of devices to keep my nostrils dilated so I can nose-breathe at night time, and this device is the most comfortable I have come across. It inserts completely in the nose, so is not dislodged when I toss and turn at night, and is not painful as some other units are. I have used them for a month, and wonder if it is only for sanitary purposes that it is suggested they be changed after a month - mine seems to be still OK (but the cost is reasonable anyway). Just know that I can get these in Australia, but via you they are only 50% of local price - and this includes postage - so well done for not price gouging!

I didn't buy this because of snoring but because a bad knock to my nose damaged it so when I lay on my side, the uppermost nostril closed up. The megavent breathing aid kept the nostril open so I could breathe easily and so sleep much better. Such a small thing but it's made such a difference and being quite comfortable to wear, I sometimes forget to take it out straightaway when I wake up and can look a little odd!

The small size megavent that I bought originally did not widen my nostrils sufficiently although I have a narrow nose. The large size is definitely better and allows me to breathe more easily. It takes time to get used to having extraneous objects inside the nose but it is worthwhile to put up with the discomfort. I try to alternate using the megavent with nasal strips so as not to irritate the lining of my nostrils every day.
