Interesting device very different from the mould in boiled water type. Great not to have to mould it but takes a bit of getting used to as it is much looser in the mouth, I was worried that it would displace during the night but infact as long as the front strap is well down at the base of the teeth it seems to work very well. I've been using it for about a month and as yet no chew marks on the biting surfaces. Occasional pinching of the cheeks seems to have been cured by setting the bite plates further back.

I bought this as a first resort after the dentist told me how much he would charge. It hasn't stopped me fr clamping my teeth so much - which means I do get jaw ache when I wear it - but it has stopped the nerve pain that used to shoot up the left side of my face and that is definitely a good thing!

I have suffered from bruxism all my life, but only discovered this product a few years ago.The first one I bought was very effective and lasted years. The one I have just purchased seems to be made of softer plastic, but it could be that my old one had become a little brittle with age. Anyway,it does the job just as well. Even though I have teeth missing here and there, this device is still useable and makes a huge difference. I sleep much better and there's less wear and tear on my teeth. It does take a bit of getting used to at first but it's well worth persevering.

Very quick delivery and exact product as advertised. Purchased to trial teeth shield, as for one on the NHS is over 300. Has been very useful and effective in stopping me grinding my teeth. Takes a little getting used to, but with daily use, am now managing most of the night with it in, before I take it out in my sleep!

I bought the slim fit version as was having problems with my custom made night guard specifically it was rubbing in places and digging in when i took it out causing trauma to the gum line. The Sleepright slim fit is smaller and I can put it in and take it out much more easily. It is not as comfortable though when sleeping on your side it pushes on your cheeks. Takes some getting used to but at least I can buy it myself and it does not cause problems through being too tight fitting. I also like the way that I can close my mouth with it in so can practise mouth closed and teeth apart which I cannot do with the custom made night guard. Pros and cons for both.

I have previously had custom made night guards from my dentist on three or four occasions, each of which lasted about a year, as I have quite a problem with overnight teeth grinding. I thought I would try this device as a cheaper alternative. It took a couple of days to accommodate myself to using the sleepright nightguard, as it is not quite as comfortable as the plate I have used previously. However, it does the job, cleans easily and shows no signs of wear in the 6-8 week spell I have been using it. Happy with my purchase.
" I like this Bite Splint "

My teeth clenching was causing expensive damage to my teeth so my dentist suggested wearing bite splints - a wonderful, but not very attractive invention! However over the last seven years my regular wearing of these splints at night, especially one which sat over my front teeth, caused my teeth to move and led to me biting the insides of my cheeks often enough to be annoying. Individually made bite splints are also rather expensive. I decided to try the Slim Comfort Night-Guard after doing a bit of research on the net. It's pretty good so far. After two months my teeth are moving back slowly and I no longer bite my cheeks. It sits comfortably in my mouth and is light and easy to wear. I found the price very reasonable at the equivalent of A$87.00. I hope this situation remains the same. I am unsure if this bite splint will cause movement of my teeth - I guess time will tell.

Although you may think it is a little pricey, being a student I definately did, but it has definately helped me. I read other peoples reviews and they said that theirs broke easily etc but i think they were relying too much on the product and not working with it. I tried to use it to keep my jaw open rather than as something to clench down on other than my teeth and it has relieved alot of tension quickly. You really need to work with it and then its a very good product.

After a painticularly painful episode of tooth nerve sensitivity caused by nighttime grinding I belatedly decided to bite the bullet, so to speak, on a dental guard. Pleased with the purchase, the guard fitted my mouth without adjustment and I got used to it after a couple of days.

I admit to being a compulsive 'Clencher' quite addicted really not only in my sleep but I do it at work as well, in fact any time day or night, with the occasional morning locked jaw thrown in. A little more acceptable in price than my dentist was offering (although his was custom made but couldn't guarantee it would work or how long it would last). On the smallest setting the fit seems quite good and has not left me with any sore areas; although the initial excessive flow and I'm talking gushings, of salavia was a bit of a shock takes some getting used to. Also, at first, I was concentrating too much on how to hold it in my mouth, the trick is to relax and it soon finds, sits and mould itself into position quite simply on it's own.Needless to say, after over a weeks nightly use I now sleep much better and wake with no neck pain, headaches, earache and greatly reduced jaw tension, only fellow sufferers will recognise what I am talking about and know just how much pain it causes.I have been a victim of Bruxism for well over 2 years and have already lost two teeth from this curse of 'The Clenching'. Although not a cure, I would recommend this guard to anyone as an aid to help reduce symptons, it worked for me. Even during the day now my jaw seems to have been re-educated into relaxing and feels more aliigned. So go for it, you have nothing to lose except pain.
