I have (according to my family) a serious snoring problem and I wear an appliance to help with this. Although the appliance helps considerably it doesn't completely remove the problem because my mouth falls open when I sleep. Consequently my dentist recommended these strips. They work perfectly. They are reasonably comfortable to wear although a little fiddly to get into the exact position to ensure your mouth remains shut (gets easier with practice). They are quite large and cover most of the lower part of your face below the lip and up to the sides of your nose. Although they are flesh coloured they are not the most attractive thing to wear in bed I only use them occasionally when complete silence is required but I was able to use one strip twice reducing the cost of the strips. I would recommend this product.

Tried these with the nose strips which I usually wear. The nose strips help as my nostrils collapse when I breathe in. I found the chin strips easy to apply, very adhesive but a little scary when I couldn't open my mouth much to breathe through! I did however quickly get used to this and dropped off to sleep. It stayed in place till I woke and found it still very strong to remove. It left me with a red chin for a little while though it wasn't painful to remove. Definitely worth a go if you snore through your mouth. For me it transpires it's mouth and nose!

I bought these chin-up strips to try out and they work pretty well. I snore because my jaw drops open, so if you snore in the same way then these strips will help by holding your chin up. It's kind of like a big plaster which keeps your chin hanging from your cheeks. In terms of looks it's not as inconspicious as the marketing photos. For it to work properly you really need to have the strip stuck on tight. For me I put it on so tight that it makes my face look slighty funny and I run the risk of having creases on my face. But as a temporary solution it's excellent. It's also a light and easy strip that's easy to take around. The adhesive is strong and lets you restick it a few times. It also doesn't have issues when you take it off in the morning. Sometimes the adhesive is so strong that I feel tempted to just duct tape my mouth closed! (It'd be far cheaper :) )

These work well without doubt. A small problem regarding communication with partner in bed .. but I suppose non verbal communication is better than none and after a few uses I got more skilled at timing of putting it on. Feels very secure and lasts all night. An instant snoring remedy. Better than the nose strips I think.

These work - which is a huge relief. However, I find them quite restrictive and uncomfortable. I also find that they make my skin red and sore (I don't have particularly sensitive skin) - although, I haven't been using the vaseline as I found it stopped them sticking. I can't wear them every night but they do work.

I tried a pack of 10 of the Chin-up Straps, to see how or whether they worked. I tried applying them using both methods and found that working upwards worked better for me. On a couple of occasions my mouth was able to open during the night so I snored, and I put that down to not concentrating on putting the strap on correctly. I definitely found that Vaseline was necessary to protect the skin, but making sure there wasn't excess when I tried to apply the strap - it didn't stay on properly. Normally I have a beard, which both my partner and I like, so having to shave it off and keep well shaved was a distinct bind. Overall I would say the straps reduced snoring to an acceptable limit for my partner. I need to investigate the issue further as it seems that on occasions having dealt with the mouth based snoring, I start doing it through the nose - I don't want to end up with straps all over my face. LOL

Like other respondents I feel a burk wearing them and they are difficult to remove, however they are very effective. My mouth is no longer dry and yucky in the morning. My wife is also impressed.

I bought these strips because I used to wake up with a sore throat and dry mouth which, according to my GP, was due to my sleeping with an open mouth. I tried taping my mouth prior to buying these strips which did not help much. This is an excellent product which has solved my problem.

I may feel a complete berk wearing these and for some strange reason my wife wants to take a photo of me to her work, but these do seem to work! I find it easy to put on, they are quite comfortable and have no trouble going to sleep and it does stop me from snoring. I would even say I get a better night's sleep as I am not waking worrying that I am sleeping on my back, etc. So all in all a very worth while purchase.
