I gave not much chance or really understand why the snore guard works but it does. My husband of course is the one who notices the difference most but after 42 years he's due a good night's sleep. I'm aware that I'm not having as many nights of broken sleep from waking myself snorting. Is it ultra comfortable, no but it's a case of needs must. It took a few times of cutting to fit my small mouth.

My wife tells me this works and she can sleep through. Hopefully this will continue working. There is a bit of discomfort in the mouth when it is in but it is worth it.

Totally useless. It mostly fails to mention that it is incompatible with sleep apnoea sufferers. This should be made much clearer from the very start, instead it is somewhere in the accompanying leaflet - a paragraph which I failed to spot until after I had moulded it. A complete waste of money.

This works brilliantly and I adjusted to it within a couple of days. I had previously been unable to tolerate the various mandibular advancement devices and had also tried sprays and nasal strips and singing exercises. I am slim. I used the snorelab app to measure my snoring before and during the various treatments and my score dropped from 81 to 12 over 5 days with snoreguard - nothing else altered my score. My husband is delighted and no longer heads off to the spare room! I also use nasal strips - they don't work alone but, in combination with snoreguard, they ensure that I can breathe freely with my mouth closed. Peace has been restored!

Almost gave up on this a couple of times. I had to reduce the size of the lower half and re-adjust to finally get a comfortable fit. Since then I've got more used to it but having a guard in my mouth all night long will always be somewhat alien. However if it keeps the wife happy - to have a good night's sleep - then it's worth it.

I bought this product on the recommendation of the BSSAA website self assessment test. When it arrived I was intrigued at its simple design and thought it unlikely that what effectively looked like a plastic gum shield could stop my snoring. It works by restricting the air flow through the mouth during sleep, thus reducing vibration in the throat that causes snoring, forcing me to breathe through the nose instead. I have to say I was apprehensive about reducing airflow during sleep, in case I had an episode of apnoea where, so my wife says, I stop breathing then suddenly come up for air with an horrendous noise, as if I've been holding breath underwater. Anyway long story short the device did not work, my wife said I still snored although the noise was reduced. After a few days I bit through the plastic due to my bruxism - I was fairly concerned that I would swallow a broken piece of the plastic in my sleep and choke so I threw the thing away. Surprising to see many positive reviews for this product but maybe it does work for some, just not me.

I have worn the snore guard now for about four months and my partner says it's a God send. He estimates it has reduced my snoring by 95% and ensures him good night's sleep. It took me about four nights to get used to the guard and I adjusted it a couple of times to better fit my mouth but after that I have had few problems. In fact apart from a slightly dry mouth on occasions I think the snore guard makes me sleep better. Before using the guard I use to wake up with headaches and a sore throat, often feeling groggy, now I wake feeling rested.

The first night of wearing this was uncomfortable as it was something unfamiliar in my mouth, but once I got past this, I can sleep with it without any problem at all. It has definitely helped reduce my snoring, often so that I don't snore. There are occasions when I snore at times, such as if I'm suffering with a cold, which forces me to breath through my mouth or if I'm slightly on the heavier side. All in all, I'm happy with this and it has helped mine and my partner's sleep.
