Snore Calm® Herbal Spray
This item is discontinued. We now recommend the new extra strong Rhynil spray for nose and mouth.

Some people snore because the air around their soft palate and uvula causes a vibration or flutter. The astringent properties in Snore Calm? Herbal Spray help to tighten these tissues and reduce flutter which is the sound we know as snoring.

Snoring can also be a consequence of 'allergic inflammation' of the nose and throat. The properties of Snore Calm? Herbal Spray will gently relieve the symptoms of allergies such as hay fever, house dust mite and pet hair allergy.

Watch our demonstration video, 'How to use Snore Calm Herbal Spray', to see how simple it is to use this product.

  • Euphrasia Officinalis or Eyebright is a plant found in the meadows and grasslands of Europe.
  • The flowers have yellow spots and red veins resembling a blood-shot eye.
  • When growing in profusion it forms a carpet of tiny flowers.
  • The bitter leaves can be used in salads.
  • Eyebright was originally used for treating disorders of the eye.
  • Because of its antiseptic and astringent properties it has also been shown to be effective in treating palatal flutter, ailments in the sinuses and nasal passages and is an extremely effective anticatarrhal.

Snore Calm® Herbal Spray is used to tighten the tissue of the soft palate to prevent it vibrating. The active ingredient is Euphrasia, a natural astringent.

Simply spray it onto the roof of the mouth and into each nostril night and morning to achieve the desired result.

Snore Calm® Spray has undergone extensive trails. In questionnaire based trials during an 11-year period, over 70% of users reported that they were satisfied or very satisfied with this product which was then called BSSAA Herbal Spray.

Euphrasia's astringent properties account for its usefulness as a topical treatment for inflammatory states and its ability to reduce mucous drainage. It is used as a poultice for the topical treatment of eye inflammations. A compress made from a decoction of euprhasia can give rapid relief from redness, swelling, and visual disturbances in common eye infections such as sties and conjunctivitis. A tea is usually given internally along with the topical treatment. It has also been used for the treatment of eye fatigue and disturbances of vision. Herbalists also recommend euphrasia for problems of the respiratory tract, including sinus infections, coughs, and sore throat.

Reviewer : Dan Lund (29th May 2006)

Review : O.A.P. living alone, Prostate Cancer in remission, and night shift worker. Have snored since early pre-teens and had tonsils, adenoids and polyps removed with negativee results. Prostate problems cause frequent trips to the Loo, so sleep is of paramount importance in between. Have tried Breathe-Right Nasal Strips, but daily use caused skin damage. Don't know if snoring or sleep apnoea has improved with the Nasal Spray, but can only guess that it has as I now need less sleep and feel a lot less drowsy during the night shift. Ordering more nasal Spray. (Cannot afford the more elaborate apparatus, and think the chin straps might cause panic as I am a mouth breather). {I asked my GP to see an Ear,Nose & Throat about sneezing fits, but she TOLD me I had blocked sinuses - - without knowing ANYTHING about my nasal medical history. I didn't bother with the X-ray} The sneezing fits have lessened since I started the nasal spray.
