Yet Another Newbie with a big story/belly

Post by Bulldogbreed » Wed Jun 25, 2014 11:25 am

Hi all

Well new here as my GP seems to think I have sleep apnea and I had a mild to moderate score epsworthy score (spelling?)

Systemic Lupus Sufferer, bi lateral amputee right above left below, history of heart attacks and pulmonary embolisms due to sticky blood symptom of SLE. Before losing the legs had a history of dvts. Can't wear prosthetics due to arthritis in the only knee. So piled on the pounds and massively overweight with no route to losing them as I barely can transfer. At this point there is another load of mild illnesses but my big worry is I use Zomorph and Lyrica as pain killers and worried that they are the route cause of the tiredness. I live by myself so not sure if I snore and guess it will be discovered when I go for tests.

So basically any tips beyond read up and be prepared?

Can't answer if they are behind your tiredness or not, but you will fine out if you have Sleep Apnoea when you go for tests or get a test kit home with you.
Let us know how you get on :)
